Apologies, a million apologies...i'm so busy nowadays. tsk tsk

But I am here now, to give all those interested an update for the MANGA CONTEST!!!

I am holding this contest along with and !! WOOT!! So, it is bound to be AWESOME!!

And here is all the info:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE OC CONTEST TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS CONTEST!!

For DRAWN entries:
-Your entry must consist of 15-20pages of story (give or take a few, of course, depending on the actual story and your style), And some form of a cover page and summary page (Imagine this like a flattened out book cover. It may be as a single page or two pages)
-It must be either the complete first chapter of a continuing story, or the story in its entirety (if you can fit it within the approximate 15-20 page range)

For WRITTEN entries:
-Must describe characters, story, etc. (duh), and in some way (you determine however you want to do this) describe the layout as if the readers were reading a manga.

RULES:
-First and foremost, it must be COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND ALL YOUR OWN. Please, no fan-based stuff. I won’t be accepting any of it. And I will not tolerate copying of any sort!! (Just to make it clear)
-You MAY work with someone else. But, if you do, the prizes are divided between you. Please, no more than one other person.
-As far as the style goes: Since this is original, you can do it HOWEVER you want, Japanese style, Western style,  upside-down, backwards, inside-out, all your own, AS LONG AS PEOPLE CAN READ IT!! xD

Prizes (Depending on my financial situation, these may change. But by this I mean, they can only get better. If I have the ability to do so, I’d like to increase the subs I buy for everyone and perhaps allow for more winners) ^_^
1st place: 1 year subscription + feature
2nd place: 6-month subscription + feature
3rd place: 3-month subscription + feature

And, I’ve said this before, but I can’t make absolute promises of course. BUT if I decide that your work is truly astonishing and with your permission and information, of course, I will show your work to my editor for a POSSIBLE publication!! I say possible because I have enough trouble getting anything other than my short stories published, let alone a whole manga!! xD But, at least, if nothing else, it’s a great opportunity to have your work shown around.

DEADLINE UPDATE
Because so many have asked for a postponed deadline, I shall give it to you all! 8D Deadline is now end of November, Beginning of December! Hope that works for everyone!
